Kathrin and Tiffany

We're looking to adopt a baby

We are Tiff and Kathrin, and our quirky half-German daughter, Sedona. We are a multi-cultural, fun-loving, two-mom family, and we want to start out by stating that we are thankful you are taking time to read our story. Before we introduce ourselves, we would like to acknowledge that no matter what happens from here, we wish the best for you and the baby. We know that not every profile will speak to your heart. Maybe ours will, maybe it won’t, but nonetheless, we hope the child will live the life that is just right for them. In the end, that’s what matters.

Sometimes life brings people with oddly-shaped life circumstances together, and without some heartache, neither you nor us would be here. While we may be unable to grow our family biologically, we cannot wait to welcome another kiddo into our hearts through adoption. We approach our adoption journey with a positive attitude and hopefulness, while embracing the compassion and care with which you embark on your own journey.

We met at work in 2022. As colleagues with classrooms across from each other, we got to know each other well, and soon spent time talking over lunch breaks, before morning meetings and after work hours. We were married in the summer of 2024, amongst the people we love most, in our beautiful yard. We have amazingly loving friends and family that have, with all their heart, supported our journey from colleagues, to besties, to wife and wife.

We are aware that we are defying the “normal” definition of family. We are two supportive, positive, spirited and caring moms raising an amazing kiddo, transcending biology and norms.
